The first Melissa’s Store was opened in Kloof Street, Cape Town in August 1996. They have since opened a further eight stores in Cape Town and their first Gauteng branch in Parkhurst, Johannesburg. It’s about time! Melissa’s is a retail store which also offers a restaurant experience. In the store you can shop for the unique Melissa’s Product Range, as well as local produce, and along with freshly baked quiches, cakes, savoury dishes and salads prepared each day. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and early suppers alongside a wonderful selection of freshly baked cakes and artisan coffee which is served all day. It is definitely worth a visit!
