November 2012 Newsletter

My daughter Mia and I both celebrate our birthdays in November.  Needless to say, it is tough on the budget and the diet!  In next month’s newsletter, I will report back on her Dalmation-themed birthday party.

This month’s recipes were contributed by Carolié de Koster from her Fusion Festive Ideas and include a starter, soup, salad and bakes.   Carolié says: “Fusion Menus, i.e. combining ideas from all over the world to create intriguing up to date menu’s, is still at the order of the day!  Give the following recipes a go and await the compliments!”

Carolié de Koster’s popular Art Of Cooking recipe book (hard copy and on CD) is on promotion until 15 November 2012.  Click here to read more.

The December holiday’s are around the corner, so be sure to book as soon as possible to secure dates for tailor-made private cooking lessons, cooking demonstration or hands-on cooking session for yourself or a group before everyone’s diary’s fills up!  It as an ideal way to spend quality time with family, friends or colleagues while learning something new. Whether it is a bachelorette party, a baby shower, a team-building event or a year-end function – the possibilities are endless!  Click here to send an enquiry.

In next month’s newsletter I will also tell you more about Lila Bultel’s pastry demonstration at Food & Home Entertaining Magazine’s Reader’s Day that will take place at the JHB Country Club in November.
