Feedback: Reach For A Dream Baking Class

I was contacted by the Reach For A Dream Foundation a while ago with a request to make a little girl’s dream of doing a baking class, come true.  I had a great time teaching Khanyi, 11, to bake cupcakes and to turn them into a pair of high-heel cupcake shoes!  Khanyi loved it and she couldn’t wait to show the shoes to her mom!  I have invited Khanyi and her mom to be my special guests at my Mother’s Day Cupcake Couture Class in May.

Below is a “Thank you note” from Reach For A Dream JHB

Dear Jeanri
It is such an honour to see children, who are suffering from life-threatening illnesses, enjoy the moments that generous people such as yourselves create for them. Words cannot express how grateful we are for your kindness to our dream child and the effort you went to, to make her dream a reality. Thank you for creating a special experience for Khanyi by teaching her how to bake – it was beyond our wildest expectations and so much more than we could have asked for! This is a memory that will last for a very long time with her and it is clear that you have inspired hope in this young girl’s life!  On behalf of our branch, the dream child and her family, please accept our heartfelt gratitude and thanks.
With warmest greetings,
Taryn Seegers
