September 2012 Newsletter

Spring is finally here and it is time to shake off those winter blues and switch from hearty comfort food to lighter meals.  This month’s selection of recipes are inspired by seasonal ingredients such as guava and blueberry and will not only tempt your tastebuds, but will also help you to create memorable meals with family and friends.  In less than three weeks South Africans country-wide will celebrate National Braai Day (24 September), so it is also time to dust off that braai and get grilling!

Be sure to read the post on Elise Grey’s Diary For A Lady 2013 to see Carolié de Koster’s Festive recipes with an apple theme.

If you are a foodie, your plans for the long weekend should include a visit to the Good Food & Wine Show.  See you there!
