It has been a long time since a movie was released where the story line evolves around food. In a nutshell, in the movie “Chef”, the chef played by Jon Favreau quits his job and teams up with his ex-wife, his friend and his son and goes on a road trip with a food truck. Taking to the road, Chef Carl goes back to his roots to reignite his passion for food and his zest for life.
Favreau is probably best known for his role as Happy Hogan, Robert Downey Jr’s body guard in the Iron Man series. The “Chef” movie is the first non-Iron Man collaboration between Favreau and Downey Jr. The rest of the star studded cast includes: Robert Downey Jr., John Leguizamo, Scarlett Johansson, Dustin Hoffman, Bobby Cannavale and Oliver Platt.
