“Jannies Markdag” is Jan Celliers Primary School’s annual market. As in the past, the market will take place in the shaded court-yard on the school grounds in Parkview (opposite Zoo Lake). The character of this popular event is not that of a typical flea market, but rather a community market with quality wares on offer. It is a great place to shop for birthday gifts, Christmas gifts or Thank You gifts for family, friends and teachers, etc.
At the market you will find everything from funky babygrows to ouma’s koeksisters. The products available to purchase are popular brand names such as: Melissa & Doug, Safron Rose, Exotic Kashmirs, Crumble, Love Sam, etc. Foodies will be spoilt for choice with brands such as Wholesome Harvest (free-range eggs, coconut flour, coconut oil and raw honey) and Gourmet Greek’s free range, hormone-free beef, chicken, pork, cheese and yogurt.
There will be a sitting area with craft beers and french champagne as well as award winning Food Trucks, such as Five Start Street Chef and Amexicano, who will be dishing up well known American favorites and Mexican food. The Balkan Burger Bus who won the Best Burger In JHB 2014 will also be there!
